High Performance System (HiPS)



The key areas for developing tennis players are:

conditioning
information and strategy
performance analysis
genetics and star/hero
consistant coaching methodology
coaches with strategies
system environment.

What is the HiPS?

The HiPS is a comprehensive and systematic approach leading to the long-term athletes' development.

The
HiPS has 8 functions based on the key areas for developing tennis players (Figure):

1. Athletic Conditioning System
The conditioning system contains following two systems:
- Training System to enhace positive responses (eg performance)
- Reconditioning System to quickly recover from negative reponses (eg overtrianing)

4. Talent Identification System

5. Junior Development System

6. Coach Education System

7. Career Support System

8. Consilience System (eg Business, Eco).
