The last knight who defend his "men's" honor
Verze Ridordju was appointed to the guardian for Maria Doule, she was a much-loved mistress Emperor Dopper jully Faithun, thanks to Prince Jullian's recommendation. Verze was disowned because one reason, and he wandered about the state. But Prince Jullian became conscious his genuine and employed him as his general servant.
Verze went to inner palace where she lived in. Originally, no man could go into inner palace, but he could go into because his special reason. When he went to inner palace, some mistresses and servants, watched him with curiosity. But he came Maria's room without hesitation.
"Excuse me. I am new your guardian, Verze Ridordju. May I come in?."
Sometime after, she answered "Yes, please". He came in her room and bowed to her.
"Oh, you are pretty guardian. I am Maria doule."
"…I,…I am Verze Ridordju. I am appointed to the guardian by Emperor …. I am glad … to make your acquaintance." He surprised her beauty. Perhaps Emperor was fascinated by her.
He also was fascinated by her. "I'm sorry. I go out of this room." When he said so, she chuckle. "You need not be confused about me. Take it easy. I make tea for you." She stood up and boiled water.
He think he ought to decline her but he stood that place because he think he could not decline. This room was in the top of the tower which was to the north of the palace. This room was very large. This room had much expensiveness furniture. This room was suitable for Emperor's lovely wife. But this room was a very long way to Emperor's bedroom. If someone locked a door of the passage, nobody couldn't go to the tower because this have only passage into the palace. She couldn't go out this room.
"I make tea for you." She affered him a cup of tea. He had a cup of tea, and said "good taste."
She smiled and said "How old are you? " "…I am eighteen old…." When she heard his answer, she surprised his age.
"Excuse me. You look younger than you really are." He said "Because it is true, it is natural you think so".
She also questioned "What kind of job did you do before this work?" He answered "I was a servant of Prince Jullian. Today, I am appointed to the guardian for you ."
She said calmly "Well, you shouldn't be in the mood for my guardian." He wondered at her view. "Why do you think so". "Generally, a servant of a crown prince will be close to the Emperor. But you can't rise in the world if you are my guardian."
He said "I was disowned. When I wandered about the state, Prince Jullian employed me his servant. What is more important, I am only man to doing this work."
She said "Why is it? " He answered after hold his tongue. "I was castrated because my disease in my childhood. Therefore, Emperor is relieved I do this work."
She was surprised his answer. "…I'm bad woman. I ask you bad question." He answered "You need not feel uneasy. I do my best for my work."
He bowed her after his saying. "Well, I must be going now." When he went out her room, he stopped and said "When you have some of business, please call me". After his saying, he went out her room.
